Default zmprov to add contact photos?

We are migrating from a system where users are accustomed to having a GAL that is both searchable and browsable (~600 users), so we are thinking of hiding user accounts from the GAL, and instead importing them into a shared addressbook using zmprov. (we've already done this for shared contact groups and it works well).

When a photo is added to a contact, a 'gct' shows

Flags: attachment
then under attrs:
image = null

Are there any tricks for importing photos using zmprov or other means?

not sure about the photos but i believe 6.0 will have a browseable gal so you may want to consider that depending on when you plan to deploy

Thanks - we had hoped to deploy on 6.0 but it will not be ready in time. I haven't seen anything about a browseable GAL on the 6.0b2 testbed we have, but I could be missing it.

it was mentioned in the blog post about 6.0 features, and the relevant bug is

Bug 14531 – GAL via contacts folders with sorting, browsing and real sync

it's marked as fixed, but i'm not sure if it's in the latest beta code.
