Question deleting messages doesnot relieve quota

I deleted mails frm my Inbox & Trash inorder to relieve some quota; but the quota doesnot seem to change.
Please can you guide on what to do?

It will recalculate the quota to reflect the change. What is the quota shown as (in the web ui?) and how much mail did you delete? What does the quota look like if you display it via the command line.

Run this :

zmprov gqu `zmhostname `

See if it shows you correct quota ?

zmmailbox -z -m Account gms shows me 355.57 MB the same as shown in Web UI.

The other day i had deleted few of my mails & Yesterday i deleted only one mail and the it has relievd the quota to 319MB.
Am sorry that i could not perform zmprov gqu `zmhostname as pre requested.


What can be cause of this?

Do you manually empty the trash folder or wait for ZCS to automatically perform it ?
Code:
su - zimbra
zmprov gc {cos} zimbraMailTrashLifetime
Change CoS to the one that has been applied to the account.

The trash lifetime is 15 days and i manually cleaned the Trash.

Is the mailbox only accessed via the ZWC or have you connected using a fat client at all eg. Thunderbird ?
