Default How to control the maximum number of mail can send

I install the zimbra recently. it works fine.
only one problem. one person use the system send thousands of spam from it. so how can I control the number of mails per user can send per day.
or how many receivers the user can send to perday?

Hosting a spammer on your server will likely get you blacklisted sooner or later however many emails he/she sends.

i have locked their account. but they can still register another one.

How are they registering a new one? Are they creating new accounts via the admin console?

You could block their IP using a firewall, but they probably would just change their IP if they know enough to just add another email address..

I want to restrict my zimbra users to send only 500 emails per day. can anybody help me on this issue. I am using zimbra 6.0.12 32 bit version.

Have you looked at some of the other threads in the forums on this subject or postgrey (for example)? It would also be useful if you didn't add your post to a thread that's over two years old.
