Default Client authentication with ssl-certificate ?

Hello,

I just recreated the zimbra ssl certificate and successfully tested remote access to the webclient.
During the initial remote access, the client receives the ssl certificate from the server as proof of server identity.

Is the opposite possible?
ie: A client is only allowed access to the webclient logon webpage if the ssl certificate is pre-installed/preloaded on the client.
The certificate is not given out by the server.

If possible, please point me in the right direction.
if not, what is missing for client authentication?

best regards
glenn

Is there a bug open for this?

I can't find it. But I'd vote for it.
