Default Outlook 2007 - IMAP - Message -> Followup -> add reminder not working

    Hi,

usually, when you right click a mail in Outlook 2007, you can click "follow up" and then add a reminder. However, when using a Zimbra account with IMAP, this is not possible. I can only set a red flag or remove it if it is already set. I have just these two menu items.

When using the Outlook Connector though, I see the full menu, including "add reminder", "today", "tomorrow" etc.

Also, with Outlook 2003 using IMAP, I can set reminders for messages as well. It seems to be an Outlook 2007+Zimbra IMAP problem.

Is this a bug? Is there a workaround for those who don't use the connector?

    Best regards, Jay

Same problem. I want to move away form MS Outlook to ZDT, but how do I set reminders (not just flags) for messages?

    Jay2k1,
It seems that if one ask about something that is not included, not working or wonky in ZCS you are met with the wall of silence.

You reckon? You do actually realise that these are Community supported forums not official Zimbra report and that people who visit these forums do so in their spare time? There could be many reasons you've not received a reply to this question, perhaps nobody who has visited here knows the answer, it could be because you've added your post to a thread that was three years old when you first post (you can see the the o/p didn't even bother replying to you, not everyone who visits the forums looks at every post (they're usually only interested in their own posts), perhaps it's the fact you haven't given much detail about anything you've tried to resolve your problem/question - don't forget it's up to you to do some research before you post so we don't go over the same ground, perhaps it's the fact that Zimbra Desktop is End-of-Life. Take your pick of those and many of the other possible reason for a non-answer.reason
    Regards

    Bill

    Hahaha! Bill,
    Just yanking a bit.
If ZDS is end of life, should I convert my users to Web Based or use another client?
BTW If I wantto close a thread that I started, do I request a moderator to do it or how do I mark it [solved]?

    Keep up the good work!
    Stef

I can't answer that question for you, I still use it and will do until the replacement arrives.

You should be able to edit the thread and add "[Solved]" to it.
