Default Upgrading Zimbra Integration With Samba - Ubuntu Based

I've searched the forum and found a few threads that discuss upgrading Ubuntu 6.06 LTS to 8.04 LTS with Zimbra, but I'm not sure if the same process will work for me.

I have a server running Ubuntu 6.06 LTS with Zimbra and Samba. I set it up according to Zimbra Integration With Samba - Ubuntu Based (Similar To AD And Exchange) | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials. Would I go about performing and upgrade to the OS & Zimbra the same way I would if I hadn't set it up this way?

Thanks!
Chris

Welcome to the forums

You should be fine to upgrade the O/S but you will probably have to download the 8.04 LTS version of ZCS and then install that over the top. You will have to update the schema changes you made in the ZCS directories as they will be over-written. As always remember to take a good backup of both the O/S and ZCS incase you need to rollback!

Thanks for the info! I'll give that a shot!
