Default External STMP Relay

Hello,

Sometimes I'm having problem with my email server IP which sometimes is classified as spammer.

Can I use an external SMTP/Outbound relay to bounce emails?

If yes, is it possible to my local domain not use this external relay so I can get internal mails delivered instantly?

(Sorry but I'm not advertising any service...)

DynDNS.com - Services -- MailHop Outbound

Will I have problems with no REVERSE DNS matching?

Shouldn't do as your ISP should have the rDNS in place for their mail server

Ok, I will try it. I think it might be the better option.

What if my ISP do now allow relay without authentication?

It's been mentioned in the forums once or twice.

If I configure the Thunderbird to use directly my ISP SMTP (with no authentication nor security) it works!

But... When I configure in Zimbra admin to relay at the same SMTP is does not!

Why is this?
