Howto catchall on a subdomain

Thanks for all the help.
I have one more thing I need someone to evaluate.

Lets say that I set this virtual domain up outside of Zimbra in a postfix file. And in postfix, I specify the catchall address for that domain. This way Zimbra is not involved. Is it possible?
If it's is possible, I can script this every time a new account is created.
1) A script creates a new account named "blinkiz@dnstrafik.net" in zimbra.
2) Script then directly create domain "blinkiz.dnstrafik.net" in postfix.
3) Script then create catchall on this new domain pointing to account in step 1.

Aaaa, is it possible?

Oh, didn't see your message. Okay, then my above post about creating the subdomain outside of zimbra in postfix is not really needed? There will not be any more CPU or memory demands just because each customer have there own domain in zimbra...

Postfix is very efficient in handling thousands of domains so I would not let that concern you IMHO.

Help me clear one thing out. You say postfix. Creating domains in Zimbra is... postfix?
So postfix efficient = zimbra efficient in my case?

Not exactly. Many more components involved like LDAP

Pure Postfix fine, but as Veronica has said when you introduce components like OpenLDAP, MySQL etc then a overhead will be assumed. After all this is a full collaboration suite
