Default repeated Service Status Change

5.0.4_GA_2101.UBUNTU6 UBUNTU6 NETWORK edition

I did the critical security patch yesterday, and after restarting zimbra (zmcontrol start), I (admin user) have receieved four batches of service status change emails
Jul 7 11:16:43 smtp zimbramon[8504]: 8504:err: Service status change: smtp.creativelights.com antivirus changed from stopped to running
(the alerts all have the same time/date Jul 7 , 11:16:xx and 11:20:xx..yesterday)
The mailbox service took several long minutes to start, but all services finally came on.
After the start yesterday, I can't figure out why I've gotten more than one confirmation of the status change.

Where should I look for the reason for this?
I have support tickets with the Network Edition, but would prefer not using up a ticket for what might be a simple fix...

Thanks for advice,
Rick

The repeated alerts stopped being sent, but I don't know what was happening afer the service restart.

Same thing on our 3 node Zibra server.
Suddenly the MTA service keeps stopping and restarting all the time.
Any ideas? Perhaps I should upgrade from 5.0.11
