> but i cant able to log in as kbabu@fedora.example.com(this user i created in FDS)

Is this user also created on zimbra server ? Thsi user must exist on zimbra as well and you need to pass credentials of FDS server for logging in.

You will not be able to login to admin console with normal user w/o priviledge. Remember Admin user is never set for external authentication so logging to admin user doesn't mean your external authentication is working fine. You need to test normal user login on webmail with password of AD server

Which means external auth not working.

In auth section :-

zimbraAuthLdapSearchBase: dc=example,dc=com
does it not contain dc=fedora,dc=example,dc=com ?

You must create users on the Zimbra server for them to be able to login, your FDS is only for authentication.
