Default Hit send and nothing happens

Had a few users including myself have this problem. We hit reply to an email, enter the response, hit the Send button and nothing happens. The whole top bar fades and becomes unclickable. There is nothing (that I have found yet) to do anything from here except close out the browser and reopen it.

I have only noticed this in Internet Explorer (7 and 8).

I just noticed that it was because of a picture file that was not downloading properly from the web. The picture file never showed up on my screen. I tried to delete the picture before sending and the email went out fine. I then had the other user remove the picture from her signature and send me an email to which I replied. I was able to reply perfectly to this email without the picture attached...

Any ideas how to make it so this does not happen to less "computer savy" users?

I have the option checked to automatically download pictures, would it help if I unchecked this option?

This is not happening with just internal people, but outside the company as well. Our users will hit reply to a vendors email and it will not send because of a picture file. I would really love to figure out why this is happening so that I can get this solved.

This appears to only be a problem on IE and does not effect Firefox. You can also save the message as a Draft and then send it out just fine. Does not make any sense to me.

Any help is appreciated.

It does look like that Bug. It only seems to happen with unsecured images. I copied an image directly on the server and then attached that image to my signature and it works fine.

No errors in the log.
