Default Was (almost) the same for me
Hi,

On a Suse SLES9 server I had the same problem: services not loading on startup, but loaded correctly after boot...but manually (zmcontrol start)...

After a little search the problem was about services loading order. In my case zimbra services try to start before syslog loads.

So changed load order (on rc3.d), and things go smooth...
