special characters in alias

I wanted to add a new alias to a distribution list.

the e is accented. It fails through zimbra admin console, can I do this via the command line?

You could use 'zmprov aaa' see 'zmprov help command' for the format. If it doesn't work on the command line please file an entry in bugzilla, you should also vote on it and notify support of the problem and also add a case to that bug report.
