Having 2 outgoing smtp serveur into zimbra desktop

Hello here,

We just migrated our mail system to zimbra from an exchange. Everything works well.
But our manager have 2 mail addresses. Each one on a different domain.
For example : didier.l@domain1.com and didier.l@domain2.com

context :
- These 2 domains are managed by different mail server on different locations
- Mails from didier.l@domain2.com are automaticaly forwarded to didier.l@domain1.com inbox
- domain 1 is our new zimbra mail system

=> our manager uses zimbra desktop and read didier.l@domain1.com inbox and in consequence read mails that come from domain2. But when he wants to send a mail, he would like to choose either if he sends it from domain2 or domain1. This is really important for him since these 2 domains represents 2 different compagnies.

In every MUA we can add some smtp servers to the main account and at the time of writing a mail choose the smtp server we want to.

Is there a way to do that with zimbra desktop?

The feature you want is Persona, go to the user account preferences and in the Accounts tab click on 'Add Persona'.
