Default [SOLVED] View As HTML not working

When trying to use this function, clicking on the View As HTML option of an attachment received by a user, we see the following error in a new browser tab:

HTML Conversion Error

java.io.EOFException

This feature was working in our 5.0.4 installation but has ceased to work since upgrading to 5.0.16. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

Default View As HTML not working

Something to add to this thread is that I receive the same Java error when attempting to Import a .doc file to the Documents folder.

I've looked in the convertd.log.* files and the only thing I see remotely referencing this is:

[Fri Jun 19 09:48:05 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Invalid method in request x

And:

Fri Jun 19 09:43:06 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Invalid method in request c

Both of these were me making attempts just before I posted this into the thread.

I am getting exactly the same error messages - was a solution ever foundfor this? I've tried installing various ia32 libraries (unbuntu 8.04/64-bit) but no luck. Using Zimbra 5.0.10 network edition.

We're currently running ver. 6.0.10_GA_2692.RHEL5_64_20101215161355 CentOS5_64 NETWORK edition and when attemtping to preview an attachment it works flawlessly. Upgrading some time ago seemed to fix this problem.

Sorry for not following up. I would suggest upgrading to ver. 6.

Cheers...

Thanks for your prompt reply - I'd come to the same conclusion. We were planning to do it anyway but wanted to get this working before doing the upgrade as it was working before and were worried it would break a clean upgrade.

However, I've just completed the upgrade and all appears to be OK and the "previews" are working fine now.

Now I'll need to start thinking about OS upgrade to Ubuntu 10.x ready for Zimbra 7.0!
