Exclamation [SOLVED] Zimbra IM not working

Hi,
I have a strange situation here. I got zimbra server hosting more than 10 domains on it. Everything work fine including the Zimbra Instant Messaging.

Few days ago, I created a new domain with some users on it. The IM was not working. The settings was all the same with other domain. I've enabled the IM features on each of the user.

The problem is, when I add a buddy from this newly created domain, I got no response from my mysite. But the buddy on the other side get the notice to accepting the buddy. However, when the client clicked accept, the buddy was not added on the newly created domain's user.

When the buddy on the other try to IM the newly created domain's user, I got this error message:

Code:
Error
The remote server could not be found. Show Details
When I clicked details, I got this:
Code:
	The remote server could not be found.ERROR: <message to="kent@netregy.com/zcs" from="test@richearth.com.my" type="error"><thread>chat-kent%netregy.com-52</thread><error code="404" type="cancel"><remote-server-not-found xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas"/></error></message>
Anyone experienced before? Any suggestion for me to debug? Just list out the possibility, I will check out myself.

Thanks for reading!

Are the domains on the same ZCS server or different ones ? If on different ones then you will probably need additional DNS entries for XMPP.

Default Two different domains on different machines

Hi I get the same error BUT its between servers at different sites. What would I have to do for the DNS?

I cheated and added the domain names etc to the hosts files on both servers which is great as we don't want these two servers available to anyone else
