Smile Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=mydomain.com type=A:......

Hi there,

I am using ZCS 4.5

One of my user has run into this problem. Sometime (or Everytime) he sends mails to distribution list (Group ID), mail is not delivered and he gets following error in his inbox.

Code:
<recipient1@mydomain.com>: Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type

<recipient2@mydomain.com>: Host or domain name not found. Name service  error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type

<recipient3@mydomain.com>: Host or domain name not found. Name
service error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type

<recipient4@mydomain.com>: Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of
requested type

<recipient5@mydomain.com>: Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type
Please help

Sounds like a DNS issue to me ... so please check that the domain being sent to has both a valid A and MX record present.

I am sure domain has valid A and MX record.

You could try posting some information to prove that the records are correct, search the forums for details of what's required and how to check your DNS (including your /etc/hosts file).
