    Default Reply header setting

    Hello,

Just wondering how the information included in the header of a reply can be changed. For example, I have users that would like it to be along the lines of the Thunderbird 'mailnews.reply_header_type' of 2:

    "--- On DATE_STAMP, NAME wrote ---"

I've tried searching for this in the docs and forums, but don't seem to have been too lucky.

    Thanks
    Mike King

    Default Impossible?

Does this posting require more detail?
I'm happy to hear any response even to say it's not possible right now. At least I can then post it as a request.

    Thanks
    Mike

Sorry somehow missed this post. It's currently in our messages files. This is the string:

    replyPrefix = ----- {0} wrote:\r\n

    ZmMsg.properties

Wonderful, thanks. Are there details for the different arguments that can be used with this string?

    Thanks

At the moment there are no other options.

Is this still valid for ZCS 5? If so, where does one change that setting for, say, a particular COS, or as a system-wide setting?

    Thanks.

It seems that it is not valid for ZCS 5.
    Code:
root :: /opt/zimbra/conf/msgs# grep replyPrefix ZsMsg*
root :: /opt/zimbra/conf/msgs# grep reply* ZsMsg*
The first command gives no result at all, while the second one finds a lot of LDAP related results.

Can anyone give a hint? I think typing out the entire time zone is a bit over the top.

    Thanks for your help.
