Default Cant Send external mails out

Hello All,

I just installed Zimbra Mail server for use. the Intranet mail is running fine. I can receive Internet mails but cant send out external mails. I added the external domain and created users on it. the users can pull mail from it but cant send and it is giving me an error that mail cannot be delivered.

Please help.

If you're behind a NAT router then my guess is that you don't have a Split DNS set-up. Have a look in the log files and the Admin UI and see if mail is getting deferred. If that's the case, follow the instructions in the Split DNS guide and search the forums for some troubleshooting tips. Which operating system are you using?

Don't start a new thread on the same topic when you've already got one open, it makes it difficult to foillow the thread and answer your questions (and makes extra work for the Moderators).

Place the version information of Zimbra in your forum profile, it's no use in the forums.

I've already given you the answer to this problem, set-up a Split DNS.
