active directory synchonization

Hi All,

Can you pls tell me if the Open Source Edition of Zimbra can support the syncronization between MS Active Directory and Zimbra. What I wanted to attain here is, all the accounts to be added is only in AD and not to encode again in the Mail Server and of course the authentication always happen in AD?

The accounts will have to be provisioned in Zimbra as well, you can then authenticate against AD.

You need to dump a list of your AD users that are going to be in ZImbra then provision them in Zimbra with something like this: Bulk Provisioning - Zimbra :: Wiki External Synchronisation can be set in the Admin UI on the Domain/yourdomain.com/Configure Authentication button.
