Default SPAM update ports

Hi all.

I've just a small question regarding the ports used for zimbra to update the anti-spam signatures.

Zimbra has a learning system that is when users mark the email as spam and zimbra learns from that.

But, the spamassassin used by zimbra, doesn't it has to update is database somewhere ? and where it is ?
And, using the wiki page - improving anti-spam system, it referes some ports also, but no destination IPs.

My question is where are they going to update? Because when opening my firewall ports (out of my control) i must indicate the destination IPs, or i can't get those ports open...

cheers,

Bruno Santos

For updating the SA conf files no ports need to be opened as they are retrieved using HTTP. Pyzor and Razor etc do require inbound ports to be opened.

The SA rules do not get updated. You would need to do that yourself.
