Default Zimbra and sieve vacation notice

Here's my problem. We have a server called tiger.subdomain.domain.com.

Our inbound MX servers deliver mail to flat domain as user@domain.com to the
Zimbra server named tiger.subdomain.domain.com so that vacation/auto-reply
does not pick this up from the full headers and send an auto-reply to someone
that has sent mail to user@domain.com as it sees the email as being sent to "not it's final destination" but to the flat name space.

Is there a way to hack around this using sieveshell somehow or to edit the
filtering rules in openldap so that it will send an auto-reply to anyone sending
mail to username@*.domain.com?

I've tried editing the cyrus.conf to include:

SERVICES {
sieve cmd="timsieved" listen="sieve" prefork=0
}

After installing timsieved but that does not start the service which should be running on port 2000.

Thanks for any help!

It would be nice if there was a global or wildcard option for auto-reply for email coming in using a flat namespace.

Default mail relays

So to expand on my last question of flat name spaces and relaying.

I have an inbound relay server and also a Barracuda Spam firewall that relay mail internally to sub domains.

I was thinking if I created a domain.com domain in zimbra and then creating accounts under that it would suffice as for the away-notice thing. However, I am unsure if this will confuse the database.

I also tried creating a new domain domain.com but it complained that it already existed! I deleted this domain but Zimbra thinks it still exists even though it does not in the web admin gui. Any clues?

Thanks,

-- Trev

BUMP!

Anyone from Zimbra have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,
