Here's my problem. We have a server called tiger.subdomain.domain.com.
Our inbound MX servers deliver mail to flat domain as user@domain.com to the
Zimbra server named tiger.subdomain.domain.com so that vacation/auto-reply
does not pick this up from the full headers and send an auto-reply to someone
that has sent mail to user@domain.com as it sees the email as being sent to "not it's final destination" but to the flat name space.
Is there a way to hack around this using sieveshell somehow or to edit the
filtering rules in openldap so that it will send an auto-reply to anyone sending
mail to username@*.domain.com?
I've tried editing the cyrus.conf to include:
SERVICES {
sieve cmd="timsieved" listen="sieve" prefork=0
}
After installing timsieved but that does not start the service which should be running on port 2000.
Thanks for any help!
It would be nice if there was a global or wildcard option for auto-reply for email coming in using a flat namespace.
