Default [SOLVED] POP3 only accounts in NE

Hello...
We have a 100 user version of the Network Edition of Zimbra 5.0.16. We purchased a perpetual license. We are up again the 100 user limit. Now, there are about 10 new email addresses that we need to add that are just POP3 only. No need for any of the collaboration features in NE. When we initially purchased this the sales guy indicated that you CAN setup store and forward POP accounts on the system above and beyond the 100 count. So far I do not see how to do this without getting the licensing error through the admin gui. Do I need to use the CLI?

Is this even possible? I want to have these accounts under the same domain as everyone else but it is just POP accounts only.

Or, do I need to get a 25-pack of the NE Standard and not the professional. The sales guy indicated in a voice mail that I can just to a store and forward POP account but I do not see where to set that up without being part of the 100 user count in NE.

Thanks for any info
Dave

If the users are going to be a mailbox on the Zimbra server that they will connect to via POP3 then you'll need additional licences to create the user mailbox, unless I'm missing something in your question.

Thanks...That is what I thought. But the sales guys keeps saying that it is possible using "store and forward" pop3 and not needing licenses. I do not understand this since the users will need to be in the domain. And, when we add them through the admin console it stops at 125 users and does not allow adding any more. Perhaps through the CLI?

Thanks for any input

Dave

Honestly, I have no idea. I think at this point we will need to just get the Zimbra Network Edition STANDARD - 25 pack. Our existing 100 users are using the NE PROFESSIONAL but the sales guy indicated we can mix and match STANDARD and PRO on Zimbra NE.

We are lovin Zimbra. Keep up the good work.

Thanks
Dave

Yes, you can mix Std and Pro in the same server/infrastructure with no problem.
