I did install Webmin 1.3 version but does not seem to be working. Below is my script pls advise.

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmpurgemessages > /dev/null 2>&1 su - zimbra -c "/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages"

Well, unless that is from an older version of zimbra then my 4.0.2 system has
Code:
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages > /dev/null 2>&1
as the cron job and it's set to run at 03:00.

Yup. i using ZCS 3.0.1. The purgemessages don't seem to be running. Any idea how to make it run. What should i do using webmin to correct it in order to make purgemessages cron job . pls advise

I'd suggest upgrading to the most recent release of Zimbra, the version you're running is old and there have been many improvements in the product since that version.

Ok thank for your advise. Btw ZCS 4.0.2 does it has this problems also.. meaning messages wont purge too?

Not as far as I know, I haven't seen any reports of it. I have 4.0.2 running and trash message lifetime set to 2 days and Spam at 1 day and they go. Obviously take a full backup of your system before upgrading.
