Question ZCS 6.0 and SUSE 11

I herad it's going to support it, but I tried to download the demo and there is no demo version for SUSE 11, does anybody know what it's happening?

I have no inside information here, but we are a big fan of SLES and run all of our and our clients' Zimbra servers on SLES.

SLES 10's regular end-of-support date is July 31, 2013. Four years from now we'll all be on Zimbra 6.5 or 7.0, so I think the likelihood of Zimbra adding SLES 11 as a supported platform for ZCS 6.0 is pretty slim, though I confess I wish it were otherwise.

But again, I have no official information on this other than what's published in the Zimbra product routemap, where SLES11 is indeed conspicuous by its absence.

All the best,
Mark

Thumbs up

I'm with you, probably the best Linux Distro so far (my point of view) is SUSE Enterprise Linux, so why not have the best Linux run the best Collaboration Suite????

I just hope Zimbra gives us an Open Source Edition like they did with SLES 10.
