Code:
su - zimbra
spamassassin -C /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin -D --lint > sa.log 2>&1
Check sa.log for any errors with your SA configuration files. As you have said it worked fine before you made changes to salocal.cf

Hi this problem is still outstanding.

Whats worse is after the upgrade its intermittent and i've setup more user accounts and for some accounts when they send emails, you get the x-spam headers. Other accounts you dont.

I really need some help here.

This is another bump, maybe someone will take pity on me for being in a workplace where they use Linux instead of Microsoft, where I could be using Exchange and it was installed and running within minutes.

So it works with the stock SA rules but when you change them you get the missing flags ?

With a fresh installation Everything works fine!

When I changed the stock SA rules. Intermittently and every time I tried to troubleshoot it - Intermittently.

When I have now upgraded. It works for some users and not others.

i.e TestUser4 can email everyone and then they get X-Flags in the receiving emails.
TestUser3 can email everyone but then no-one gets X-Flags in the receiving emails.

The point here, is that there is no consistency!

So I manage to get a VM at my home and have setup a server there. So this is external traffic I am playing with.

If I add even 1 line (a blank line) to /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/local.cf I lose my x-spam flags

X-Spam-Flag: NO
X-Spam-Score: -9.821
X-Spam-Level:
X-Spam-Status: No, score=-9.821 tagged_above=-10 required=6.6
tests=[AWL=-7.322, BAYES_00=-2.599, RDNS_NONE=0.1]

Can anyone please tell me the correct place to put all my additional rules for spam assassin?
