Changing received date

I moved to a new server using imapsync. I didn't do enough research beforehand and now I have lots of emails with the migration date for the received date. The emails still show the original date when you look at them. I have since taken down the old server eliminated the option of resyncing. Is there any other ways to change the received date on the email to the internal date?
