Default Zimbra 6.0 Beta Performance

Hiya...

Can anyone at Zimbra tell me if there is some debugging code running in the current 6.0 beta...that won't be there in GA? It just seems a lot slower on my test box at home than 5.0.x was....both the web UI and using IMAP from Thunderbird.

I run it on an old P4 workstation with 1GB of RAM, so it's not the fastest box in the world, but it is still significantly slower than it used to be when I was running 5.0.x.

Just curious...

Thanks,
Matt

Zimbra recommends that the operating system is updated with the latest patches, currently there may not be any official Zimbra Team Support for these builds. You can find out a list and version of OS that have been tested with for 6.0 in the release notes here - Documentation for beta versions of the open source Zimbra Collaboration Suite; email, contacts, and group calendaring

Please check with the command dstat - versatile tool for generating system resource statistics

let see what other say ...
