zmcontrol not stopping services

I have a zimbra server running that has recover from a shutdown....

From my backups I managed to recover everything, but I have a problem:

if I issue the comand:

zmcontrol stop

I get:

Host svrz.ideia.lan
Stopping stats...Terminated

if I ask the status:

zmcontrol status
Host svrz.ideia.lan
antispam Running
antivirus Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running

zmcontrol is not stopping the services....

Any ideas to solve this?

Release 6.0.5_GA_2213.UBUNTU6 UBUNTU6 NETWORK edition

I don't have any other alternative than reboot the server, which by the way is a bad thing to do in a busy afternoon.
