Default [SOLVED] logger service

We've started using zimbra in a cluster configuration designed for maximum scalability: 2 ldap servers with replication, two load balanced mta's with proxy service and two stores. As we start to move it into production, it's starting to act up, and I'm not sure how to tell what's going on. For starters, the Server Status page says (and I have to type this, because for some stupid reason it won't let me copy/paste the message?!?):

Server status data is not available. To see the server status, logger service must be installed.

Yet, from the command line of the same administrative host:

<zmail01-store01.server.peak.org> [14] $ zmcontrol status
Host zmail01-store01.server.peak.org
imapproxy Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running

The question is: What is not working that is causing this error?

Thanks; forgot that the zimbra wiki is actually pretty useful, however it still only got me going in the right direction: although zmlogswatch was running, it was broken and wouldn't restart. Looking at /opt/zimbra/log/zmlogswatch.out found it trying to look in /zimbramon/lib instead of /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib for a perl library?!? I made a symlink to get it going again, but it makes me concerned that we have a corrupt installation somehow.
