Question Zimbra full backup.

Hi
Im new to Zimra, and using the open source version zcs 5.0.10 on an ubuntu hardy server.

Is it possible to backup every mail that passes through our server, i.e. still keep a backup of a mail, even if a user deletes it from their inbox, or outbox.

I know that is probably possible with Legal intercept for law enforcement, but that will save all mail in one inbox, I would like to keep the mail the acounts that created them.

I guess what I'm looking for is something like rsync, but which doesn't delete the difference.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.
I did think of something like that, but i would also like all my received mail to be archived. Secondly, wouldn't using that method create two backups of each email, in the original account, and the archive account? That would seem to be quite a waste of space after a few years.

I guess it could work, I was just wondering if there was a different solution.

unless they delete it from their account, thats teh whole reason of archiving to a separate store account

It still seems a bit inefficient, but better than nothing.

How do I backup the received files? Wont adding a permenant bcc only send the sent items to the archive account?
