    Default Outlook Mail Rules

Is there a way to have Outlook save it's mail rules on the server similar to Exchange?

If not, is there any other way besides the web interface to setup filters?

Default I saw the same thing

I just noticed that rules set up on the server only are applied if messages are viewed using the web interface (not when mail is received as I'd hoped). It also seemed that if a message is marked read (through IMAP interface), the web rules will not kick in then either.

Hrm, that's weird. When I setup rules to move stuff based on subject it would work as expected.

For example, if the subject contained "[DEV]" it would be dumped into my Dev folder, marked as unread.

I setup this rule in the web interface, and it works via Mail.app on my Mac.

But I'm looking for something like the rules wizard for people using Outlook, and have it save the information on the server, the way Exchange does.

Rules are stored on the server and evaulated during mail delivery by the server.

Outlook rules are not synced with the server. We will add this feature in the future.

I ran into the same problem, the rules setup inside Outlook only work if you manually run them (when using the MAPI connection and Outlook connector).

Has this feature been implimented into 4.0?
