Default Mail loop - always_bcc option and filter rules

Hello

I am running Zimbra 5.0.10_GA_2638 on SLES10.

I want to set these services :
- archive all message which can transit by the zimbra system
- send a copy of each mail (in/out) for certain user to certain user (external user on another mail domain).

The first point is accomplish by the always_bcc option in postfix conf file. Every mail is send to an archive mailbox.

I want to accomplish the second point by set up some filters rules (forward rules) on the archive mailbox. But, the forward rules create a mail loop in the Zimbra system (forwaded mail are also examine by the forward rule).

In fact, I can't determine if a mail is a forwarded mail by the archive mailbox or an original mail. Indeed, the forwarded mail are forwarded without any change to the mail or any change that I can distinguish bye mail filter.

If I can distinguish the two mails types , I could set a rule to ignore forwarded mail.

Is there a solution ?

(Sorry for my poor english, I'm french)

Thank you

Individually you can use 'sender_bcc_maps' and 'recipient_bcc_maps' (search Postfix.org)
Here's an example: [SOLVED] Automatically CC an account? Is this possible?

Vote for Bug 17681 - filters set to auto-forward should send as a message, not as a blind forward aka 'redirect' vs 'forward'

Hello,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I think that I find a way to distinguish a forwarded (or redirected) mail from the original mail :

In the header of the forwarded mail, I have a Received header which contains the recipient mail address.

And I find in the mail filter the way to filter the mail header.
I jsut made a rule to not proceed forwarded/redirected mail.

It seems to be working.

I will do more test tomorrow.

Thank you very much for your quick reply, and so useful Zimbra Forum.
