Check your ld.so.conf system configuration

Zimbra lib directories should be added. Check that /opt/zimbra/lib /opt/zimbra/cyrus-sasl/lib etc are there.

If not, smtpd proccess (postfix) will use your system sasl2 library, and not the zimbra native library....
