Error message when changing password...

I have installed zimbra 5.0.14 GA and the system is running great. I have 1 small hiccup and I cannot seem to figure it out. We are accessing zimbra via https://webmail.domain.com url, however when a user tries to change their password they get the following pageload error: "SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

I have no idea what is going on. We are using the self signed certificate is that why this error is happening? ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY APRECIATED!!!!
