Default [SOLVED] html signature getting broken

Hi,

I have tried setting up a html signature but after sending the email, I'm finding the html has been broken. Observe the "3D" strings where they shouldnt be.

it appears they occur when you have equals followed by a quote. eg

=' or ="

3D is ascii '=' equals sign

<html><head><style type=3D'text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><=
div style=3D'font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'=
><br><br>-- <br><div><img src=3D"

regards

Brian

I was trying to rewrite the email with an embeded image and appropriate mime boundaries via postfix post processing. I found the html at the receiving end (also zimbra) had the 3D nonsense, but it turns out it made no difference to the display of the html. the problem was in my mime structure. curiously I was able to get thunderbird to display the embedded image, but not outlook or zimbra - broken image tags in the latter 2..
even trying the perl mail libraries didnt help, they are not complete enough for this excercise and it all ended up in too hard basket.
