Default [SOLVED] Login page template. Add some text.

Hi all.

I read this wiki and several threads in this forum but didn't find out answer to the question:

How to add some text (just one url to the page with instructions "Instructions to use zimbra with common mail agents") to the login page. I don't want to remove zimbra logo or text written there. I just want to add one sentence. Something like this:

Zimbra logo
login form
password form
Zimbra :: the leader in next generation messaging and collaboration :: Zimbra Blog Zimbra Forums

Instructions to use zimbra with common mail agents
===============================================
Copyright (C) 2005-2007 Zimbra, Inc. 'Zimbra' and the Zimbra logos are trademarks of Zimbra, Inc.

What file should I edit? I know that login page refers to the sand template. But I didn't find necessary file to edit and exact line.
I use Open Source version.

Thanks for your attention.

I managed to do that.
If it is interesting for someone I can write a small "howto" here. Maybe I'll do it this evening

in brief: one should edit login.jsp (/opt/zimbra/jetty-6.1.5/webapps/zimbra/public/login.jsp).

Hello manOfmoods,

may I learn from you is such "howto" ready to share with us?

actually, we're also planning to change the color of the login page, and have no idea how to do that..

I found jetty/webaps/zimbra/skins/ is for the theme after passing Login Page, and jetty/webapps/zimbra/public/login.jsp should be the one we should modify. just no idea how.....

any advice will be highly appreciated, Thanks.

You probably don't need to modify login.jsp. It should be modified if other variants don’t suit.

Try to look at wiki that was given in my first message:

ZWC 5.0 Themes

The login page always comes up with the "beach" skin for all users. So try to modify it.

Quote:
To change the appearance of the login page, make changes directly to the "beach" skin, in the folder .../zimbra/skins/beach/. Simply make any logo or color changes you like to the .../zimbra/skins/beach/skin.properties file and it will show those changes on the login screen for all users.
