Default Cannot delete Contacts

hi All

The contacts are NOT really removed after they are deleted by the user.
I deleted many contacts, and then added new ones.
But the new ones appear only after all the blank records left by the deleted contacts.
For example, if you have 100 contacts, and you delete all of them, and then add 20 new contacts. You will find that you will have 4 blank pages of contacts (if you set 25 contacts per page) and that your new contacts will only appear after the 4th page.

Can anybody help?

Thank you very much in anticipation.

Well, contacts are deleted on my system. Which version of Zimbra? New install or upgrade? Which operating system? Are you saying that this happens all the time?

This is definitely a bug, and definitely fixed, though I can't recall if it is fixed in 3.1 or will be fixed in the next release.

I think the work around is to empty the trash, and you may or may not have to relogin as well.

hi Schemers

Thank you. I'm using 3.1 on Fedora 4.

Yes, your workaround works, but may have to re-login after deleting the trash.
Btw, it would be nice if there is an Empty Entire Trash feature.
Zimbra is great but there is still a lot to improve on.

Thank you once again.

There is, just right-click on the Trash icon and Empty Trash or did you mean something else?
