Default problems to restore the backup of zimbra with the script of wiki

Hello every body
I'm a french boy so my english isn't good!!

I installed Zimbra on a virtual server adn I made the DNS , the network and Zimra. all functions work!!!It's a great software very easy to use this.

But my problem is the backup and the restore. I take the script on Open Source Edition Backup Procedure - Zimbra :: Wiki and when i make the backup all things are correct but the e-mail doesn't send to the admin!!!

However, I have the file of the backup (zimbra.dar) and the DAR is the BIG PROBLEM for me i don't know how I use this command so i can't make the restore.

if you can help me!!!!

NB: i'm a beginner on Linux!!i use ubuntu server 8.04 tls and the last version of zimbra.

Default restore dar file

to restore the dar file, use the command:
Code:
dar -x filename
if you used the encrpyt option then use:
Code:
dar -K bf:password -x filename
replace filename with the filename of the backup.dar file and replace password with the one you used to encrypt the backup.

I have yet to find out how to extract the differential backups, you can ask heinzg for this. If he reply's with the answer, please let me know.

Good luck
