Default imap configuration for outlook

hi,

If we configure IMAP in microsoft office outlook then whenever we try to send mails it getting store on local disk not on server folder....anyone knows how to configure IMAP to store sent items in server folder instead of local folder..

i googled the solution and i got answer by creating rules in outlook to make it happen but all user wont do that..we have more than 200 users.

so please help me how to set it...

i know this is not the place to post this query...but i believe most of th ppl here come across this problem.

thanks

In 2007, Tools > Account Settings > Change > More Settings > Folders > Choose an existing folder or create a new folder to save your sent items for this account in.

(The other option by default is 'Save sent mail in the profile Outlook sent items folder'.)

there is no option for 2003. the solution we did for 2003 users was setup a mail rule that puts a copy of all mail sent to the sent folder on hte imap server. the only down side is it marks it as unread so you see a lot of unread items in your sent folder but at least they're there.
