Which security protocol should I use, TLS or SSL?

What are the pros/cons for each of them?

Though Outlook does say SSL for connections so putting TLS may confuse people. Far to many TLAs in IT

I'm trying to figure it out if Outlook does support TLS.

For forum searchers:

TLS is only supported in Outlook 2003 with Office SP2+ Installed!
