Default zmcalchk on Mac OS X can't locate XML/Parser.pm

We upgraded from 5.0.7 to 5.0.13 today and wanted to test out the new 'zmcalchk' command line tool. However, when running it as the zimbra user, I get an error similar to that described in bug #35576.

It appears that Zimbra may not be supplying all the required dependencies on Mac OS X to utilise this command.

Can anyone confirm if this is the same error they are getting, and if so, if there's a convenient workaround?

Have now voted on the above mentioned bug and updated it on the assumption I am having issues based on the same problem.
