They are enabled by default, you can check in the Admin UI.

Why do you think they are not enabled ? If you check in the Admin GUI you should see whether they are enabled or not ... Or you can check from the command line using
Code:
su - zimbra
zmprov gs `zmhostname` zimbraServiceEnabled
