IM can't connect to Yahoo messenger

I'm using Open source version.Every thing is ok,but only IM function.When I want to try connecting to yahoo account,I alway receive a error:

Did you receive an answer to your question? I havent been able to connect to yahoo either.

I am curious, too, about the ability for the IM feature to connect to Yahoo!. It's covered in the Zimbra user manuals and many other places, but I've never had the option.

So, dalmate, since you are receiving an error, does that mean you actually have the option to add a Yahoo! buddy? Or are you just entering a Yahoo! e-mail address and crossing your fingers?

By the way, I am using 6.0 RC1 now, but the problem is/was the same for me when I was using 5.0

When I tried to add some one in my zimbra IM, the only option I get is the local
i.e. only a user from the local domain can be added to messenger

I still havent gotten it working. I havent seen a response from the original poster, so i assume he gave up and moved on. i am still watching, hoping for a reply.

Um, in Open Source Version, they disable that. Maybe we or I must develope myself. So If done I'll send it to you and you can test it. Please wait
