This is not too much of a problem as it will still work just fine ... If you are concerned you can always update to the latest version yourself by following Wiki :: Update ClamAV which I have done myself and works just fine.

Don't update clamav on an NE server, it's not supported. Please read:

Good point Bill ... Though looking at the ops profile they are also running NE on CentOS So obviously if you do go down that route you may have issues with support down the line.
