Default Upgrade from 5.0.11 to 5.0.12 stomping on themes

It looks like my upgrade from ZCS 5.0.11 -> 5.0.12 completely removed all my themes and other branding. This is a problem. Thank god for backups. :-)

I'll probably try this upgrade again. Other than copying the changed files (of mine) into the new /opt/zimbra/jetty/ is there anything else I need to do? Anyone have a more elegant solution to this problem?

That's expected behaviour. Any modifications or additions you make to files in the /opt/zimbra directory structure may get change or removed during an upgrade, you'll need to apply them after your upgrade.

All the new logos and branding files mods we copy in the same directories with the suffix ".reliable" -- BEFORE we do any upgrades. You can then replace the Zimbra-overwritten versions with these via a copy command after the upgrade.

For example:
Code:
# ls -al
total 68
drwxr-xr-x 3 zimbra zimbra 4096 Jul 28 2008 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 zimbra zimbra 4096 Jul 28 2008 ..

-rw-r--r-- 1 zimbra zimbra 6006 Jun 8 2008 LoginBanner.png.reliable
-rw-r--r-- 1 zimbra zimbra 4120 Jul 9 2008 LoginBanner_white.png
drwxr-xr-x 2 zimbra zimbra 4096 Jul 28 2008 ZimbraInside
Hope that helps,
Mark
