Hi,

in my test environment when i trying to open web client with
http:\\<ip address>:80/zimbra its opening but not asking login credential..its directly loading to one of the user and when i try to logoff still its showing loading and get back to that specific user's inbox.

what might be the issue ?

And one more question..might be it is silly question ....my admin console and web client opening with ip address only ..not with domain name...any suggestion ?

As per usual, this has been covered in the forums many times - please do a search first. You most likely have a DNS problem (but may also be SElinux and/or firewall enabled) if you can't get to your server by using the FQDN.

Thanks bill for quick reply.

I have total 4 different setup of zimbra in different environment like test , staging , production , devlopment ..and on all zimbra servers I am able to access by IP address but not by hostname. I searched on forum but couldnt find out the solution for my issue.
I have checked below things on all servers :

1. there is a correct entry in /etc/hosts
2. mentioned dns server name in /etc/resolv.conf
3. selinux is disabled
4. np iptables is mentioned
5. hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network

i am able to ping my hostname from respective servers. and if i check it through elinks i am getting "ok" status.

what may be the issue ..any suggestion...or i m missing out any imp setting ??

pls help.

I would recommend you check your Wiki :: Logfiles for any error messages and please post the following so we can validate your DNS setup for one of the servers
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain mx
dig yourdomain any
host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes
