Default Mail Server Problem

Dear All,

I have configured Zimbra as a mail server in my production network working fine from last 10 days but today suddenly users are not able to receive mail from server. I have check all service from "zmcontrol status" and all services running fine. Then I have check mail queue and found all mails in queue I dont know why this happen?

can any one tell m what should I check? and what is a reason why the mail are getting stuck in queue? I am using Zimbra Release 5.0.11_GA_2695.RHEL5_20081117051306 RHEL5 FOSS edition

Have you checked your logfiles ? Have a look in /var/log/zimbra.log and /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log to see why they are not being delivered.

You should check the log files and see what errors are given, it's impossible to tell from your description what the problem is.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply and I have check the maillog files and found lots of entry like " dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (conversation with abc.xyz.com[192.X.X.2] timed out while sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once)"

any clue for this error?
