Default Install Zimbra with other apps using mail

Hi,

When I install Zimbra, I obviously have to turn off the initial mail apps of the server. In my case, it is qmail.

But then any other apps using mail, including wordpress blogs etc., cant send mail.

Whats the solution? Sorry if its a novice question. I'm trying to install Zimbra for small-business purposes- it's an excellent product, but I need to use my server for other things too

When you've installed Zimbra and disabled qmail, do the zimbra services start? Have you done a 'zmcontrol status' (as 'su - zimbra') and if so what does it say? Can you telnet to your zimbra server on port 25 on the server itself and from other PC on the LAN?

If the zimbra services are running there should be no reason other apps can't send mail.
