What do you mean by that?

It will send the email to the correct mailbox.

What is it you're trying to achieve and what problem are you having?

Thumbs up Postfix + postfix_transport_maps

I have a server postfix and a zimbra server in separated machines, I'm trying to make the integration of zimbra server with my postfix to send and recive emails at my zimbra server, I already tried to set "postfix_transport_maps" with this tutorial of zimbra giving this error "file /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd.pid does not exist"

can you help me ?

Thanks

Why don't you just migrate the postfix server to Zimbra and just use one mail server? If you have both servers on the same domain then this may help.

Zimbra has not installed correctly. Please check /tmp for setup logs and post them. This maybe because Postfix is already running and your DNS may not be correct so aswell please post
Code:
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain mx
dig yourdomain any
host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes

Default Commands

In the machine that the Zimbra is installed I have:

# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.100.113 plutao01.com.br.intra.plutao.com.br plutao01.com.br
192.168.100.106 plutao.com.br.intra.plutao.com.br plutao.com.br

# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

The other one:

# cat /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 192.168.100.108

(This IP is about our internal Firewall with OpenBSD.)

# dig plutao.com.br mx

You need to fix your hosts file, check the Quick Start Installation Guide for details then fix your DNS with the Split DNS article.
